Sponsor Programs

There are many working parts involved in putting a race of this magnitude together, and many of them cost money! Consequently the sponsorship program is very flexible and we have identified many needs to be addressed to make this a successful venture. We appreciate all efforts from local businesses to contribute to the cause including in-kind donations as well as funding. All our sponsors will be listed on our Sponsorship List regardless of contribution. In addition, we have several advertising opportunities for sponsors as well.

Event Naming Progam grants the sponsoring business their logo placed above the event name and business name mentioned before the event in all placement advertisements. The sponsor will also be granted competition exclusive vending and displays in the finish line area on the day of the event in addtion to other top level amenities. THIS PROGRAM IS SOLD OUT FOR 2017!

Official Sponsor Program grants the sponsoring business their business logo placement on all printed materials, signs, and print advertisements. This includes the website (official sponsors will be separate from regular program sponsors and designated as such), T-shirts (top level placement), and mile marker signs (guaranteed at least 6 separate mile marker placements). $500

Race T-shirts will feature the race logo prominently on the front and select business sponsors on the back of all race shirts for all festival events. Sponsors donating at least $100 will get their business logo displayed while those donating at least $50 will get their business name in print on the back of the shirt.

Mile Marker Signs will be placed at each mile of the course. Each mile marker will have the race logo and a mile number. For $100 each sponsor will receive AT LEAST 6 3x3" placements on the mile markers to be distributed in even rotation. In the event this program is not sold out, any unsold placements will be divided up evenly among participating sponsors. We currently have all slots available in this program.

Website Placement will be provided for all sponsors of the race that donate at least $25 in cash or goods. Businesses will receive a sponsor welcome write-up on our home page to be posted for at least 7 days and a matching Facebook post welcoming them as a sponsor of Howard's 25K Run.

PLEASE NOTE: Howard's Run Festival is a Queen City Striders event. The Queen City Striders is an affiliate member of the RRCA and through the RRCA, is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
